Man Killed in Fall From Tree

An 82-year-old Waukesha man, said to be a direct descendant of John Alden and Priscilla Mullins, famed American Pilgrims, died at Waukesha Memorial Hospital Monday about three hours after he from a tree.

He was Frederick W. Alden of 602 Madison St.  The Accident occurred shortly after 9:30 a.m. in the rear yard at 222 Randall St.  Alden died at 12:45 p.m.

A physician diagnosed Alden’s injuries as a dislocated left shoulder and kneecap, but it was thought the cause of death was internal injuries.

Corner Alvin Johnson has been notified by police.
