Stan Barnhill

Jeanette;

I'm very impressed with your detailed research on the descendants of James William Barnhill. I am updating my files, using information you posted in the Barnhill family forum. Following up on your information, I find Mary Boone Barnhill evidently had children by her second marriage. Your files indicate she was buried in West Chester County, New York. I have located a grave in the Pfeiffer cemetery in Escambia County, Florida with her name on it. The (Waldroup) headstone reads "Mother 1894 - 1965". It is a shared headstone and the other reads "Father 1884 - 1958". Assuming Mary remarried after 1939, her children would all be under the age of 70. Intelius "people search" shows many waldroups in the Pensacola area, and several under the age of 40. any one of these might be grandchildren. I have found in my research - sometimes a blind search like this produces results. It did in the past, but these days with so many people who are not willing to share personal information, genealogical information is harder to access.
Good luck - You are an "ace" researcher in my book...

Stan Barnhill
Note: Mary Boone Barnhill Staples never remarried. She died in 1960 Death Record is pending.

Belgian Red Cross parcels were loaded with illegal diamonds and then sent to Switzerland, and from Switzerland to Belgium, which was, of course, occupied by the German forces.
