Message From Charles Mulertt
The Grandson of Carl Eugene Mulertt
Dear Jeannette [october 4, 2010]
Thank you for this information; My grand father is born in 1869..died in 1963. He spent more than 20 years in Holland between 1899 and 1922.He lived in Katwijk-an-zee by the North see this can explain some similarities with the Bommer's painting. My grand father studied painting in Paris in the 1890's and travelled to holland because he got some orders for paintings in Holland. He got advices from
Dutch painter Jozef Israel (1824 1911) and you can see similarities between the master and the pupil.
I went to Nashville last year but I did not have enough time to visit everything. I visited the Country music hall of fame & museum, the old Ryman Auditorium, the Parthenon , Brodway etc...
I live in Lyon in France but I like to travel and especially in North America. I spent
if you are interested in paintings I can send you photo's of paintings I have at home; I will probably travel to the East coast in 2011 or after. Wishing you a nice Sunday
Sincerely
Charles
