Bequeaths $50,000
Cash bequests totaling $50,000
and provision for a trust fund of undetermined amount were set forth in the
will of Mrs. Augusta Cushing Pettengill of 462 Chestnut Hill avenue, Brookline,
it was disclosed yesterday, when the document was filed in Norfolk probate
court. Mrs. Pettengill, the widow of
Blanchard T. Pettengill, died Jan. 1 at the age of 89.
After ordering payment of debts
and funeral expenses, the document bequeathed $25,000 to each of two daughters,
Mrs. Annie T. Hale of Concord. N.H. and
Miss Mary L. Pettengill of Brookline.
The rest of the estate is to be set up in a trust fund which shall be
divided equally by the two daughters.
