Sherwood Anderson was American Novelist. I had heard of him. So what was my interest in him. Well I bought a bible two years ago that belong to James William Barnhill. He was born in La Grange Oldham County Kentucky.

James William Barnhill had a daughter named Mary Boone Barnhill she married Henry Lee Staples II. They had a daughter named Mary Boone Staples. AKA Boone.
Boone met and married John Jacob Scherer III. John's first cousin was Eleanor Gladys Copenhaver. She was the fourth wife of Sherwood Berton Anderson.
