Slow-Cooker Pulled Pork Barbecue

The Wife of Billy Joel [Mrs. Katie Lee Joel] has excellent recipe for Slow Cooker Pulled Port Barbecue.
So I decided to make the pork, so I would have it ready for lunch, I cooked the pork in the middle of the night. The smell got to my family, and they told me I made it hard for them to sleep.
It makes Twelve Servings

Total: 14 hrs

SPECIAL NOTE: Use Watkins products for best results.
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp onion poswder
2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne red pepper

Special Note: Use Kraft original BBQ sauce
2 cups of barbecue sauce

Special Note: Go to the Deli Section of your store and get the freshest soft buns you can find. I like the ones top with Onion flavor.

Cole slaw optional--For extra crunch and great flavor use Broccoli Slaw.

Rinse pork and pat dry. In a small bowl, combine chili powder, onion powder, salt, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Rub all sides of the meat. Most important Marinated the meat for 2 hrs or overnight.

Cook in Slower cooker for 10 hrs. After cooking drain liquid and skim fat

Shred pork with forks and return to slow cooker. Return liquid and Barbecue sauce.

On thing I am going to say this, I used the best products on the Market, for seasonings I use Watkins. Watkins can now be purchased at Walmart.

Also for the Barbecue sauce, the best use is Kraft orginal Barbecue sauce. When using Kraft orginal it gave the pork a really great flavor.

Now for my twist, everyone always use the cabbage for the Cole Slaw. So to add extra crunch I use broccoli slaw.

My husband just returned from Iraq and I always make him a really great dinner. So I chose this and he loves it.

So I have the seasoning alreay made up so I can just make the pork.
