TINY PRINCES HAS BIRTHDAY FIVE YEAR OD DAUGHTER OF DUKE OF YORK CELEBRATES IN WINDSOR CASTLE 5TH BIRTHDAY OF QUEEN II APRIL 22, 1931

LONDON, April 21, --Princess Elizabeth, daughter of The Duke and Duchess of York, celebrated her fifth birthday with her parents and grandparents.  the King and queen, at Windsor Castle today.  After breakfast in the royal nursery the princess found a thrill awaiting her in the oak room where there was a large collection of presents.

During the changing of the guard ceremony she appeared on the quadrangle and tried to keep step with the Irish pipers even dancing a jig.
