He was my Great Uncle, and he raised me after my parents divorced.
During WWII he was a Chief Electricians Mate of the 573rd CBMU, USNR. He was stationed on Banika Island in the Solomon chain until discharged as a result of a service related injury.
He was a Telephone Pioneer and a 40 year veteran of the Bell System. He left his wife Eula upon his passing.
