Benjamin S. Muckenfuss, secretary
of the St. Louis Browns years ago, died at his home in Malba, L.I., Last
week. He was 61 years old. Muckenfuss related to the Browns from 1893-
1899 in the days of Chris Von der Ahe.
When the Browns Changed hands and became known as the Cardinals Muckenfuss
continued as secretary for two years. He
moved from St. Louis to New York 14 years ago and went into the theatrical
business. The funeral was held in
Malba. Besides his widow, Muckenfuss is
survived by a daughter and two sons. His
daughter, known by the professional name of Rosalie Stewart, is a theatrical
producer.
