I have always thought David Cormany
died in Colombus Texas He was married to Rachael Schurer, i believe he had 8
children 2 of which were Elizabeth Rhoda and Martin Luther. Elizabeth was
married twice once to Unknown Edwards the Edwards family only knew his nickname
was Dub. Strangely he died in Colombus Texas about 1866 of "The
Fever" They had one child William Colombus Edwards (reguardles of what you
have heard their was no William Tecumpsa Sherman Edwards)
he was my wife's grandfather and is buried in Union Hill Cemetery in Wise Co. Texas i takled with him several times in the years before he died and have several letters written to him from Martin Cormany. For some reason Elizabeth Rhoda had been estranged from her family for years untill Martin accidently located her. I was told it was because Edwards was a Union Soldier (wish i knew the whole story)Elizabeth Rhoda's 2nd marriage was to J.K.P.
Boles. She is also buried at Union Hill Cemetary her Tombstone says "Lizzie Boles".
